We are looking for volunteer therapists to join our friendly team. If you have an interest in Trauma Therapy, or are looking to fulfill your placement hours, we can offer you a voluntary position to suit your needs.  We provide 1 to 1 support for the volunteers in the form of a key worker.

Requirements

• Membership of a professional body e.g BACP, UKCP, NCPS or other recognised body.

• A current DBS check (less than 3 years old)

• Indemnity Insurance to work as a trainee/qualified counsellor

• Clinical Supervisor in place

• 2 references - one character - one academic or professional

Upon receipt of the application, we will invite you in for an interview.  You will be required to give a ten-minute presentation on your understanding of trauma/PTSD and how you would work with clients. We provide equal opportunities to all students and welcome diversity.
